Applications for Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Programme in Resilience in Educational Contexts, starting October 2023

The University of Malta in collaboration with the University of Crete, University of Lisbon and University of Suceava, Romania, is offering a two-year full time Master’s Programme in Resilience in Educational Settings starting in October 2023. The EMJM programme seeks to build the capacity of educators in providing a meaningful, relevant and balanced education for children growing up in adverse and marginalised circumstances. It provides training for educators, practitioners and policy makers in the promotion of the resilience and wellbeing of children and young people facing adversity, integrating theory and practice within a systemic, transdisciplinary approach. The programme consists of taught courses, a practice placement and a dissertation and spans over four semesters. The first semester takes place at the University of Malta, the second semester the University of Crete, the third semester at the either University of Lisbon or Stefan cel Mare University, Suceava, Romania, and the fourth semester (dissertation) at any of the four universities. The first three semesters/mobilities are held on site, but the fourth semester may be held onsite, online or hybrid.

The course starts on 2nd October 2023 at the University of Malta (1st semester) and applications may be submitted at the University of Malta by 30th June 2023.

This Master programme is eligible for the Government TESS/Endeavour Scholarships.
