St Theresa College Art Exhibition at MUZA
The Erasmus+ group at St. Theresa Secondary school, Mriehel, has been actively involved in a project, FEEL – Future Empowered European Leaders for the past three years. As a final task with the aim to disseminate their work to the public and involve as many students as possible, they organized an Art Competition/Exhibition for the schools within their college.
The Erasmus students designed posters and regulations for the fellow students within all the college schools as part of their contribution within the project. A large number of students participated. The Creative Process involved students in research and listed several challenges Europe is facing. Then they identified three pressing issues facing Europe today, namely climate change, illegal immigration, and gender inequality. In collaboration with international teams, they discussed and developed strategies to deal with these challenges.
This project empowered students with knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to become future European leaders who can effectively address these challenges and create a more sustainable, equal, and just society. A selection of students’ works was exhibited at MUZA between Friday 28th April and Friday 5th May. On Friday 5th May an award ceremony was held where all awarded students received certificates and prizes. A Museum tour and a treasure hunt followed in collaboration with Heritage Malta officials.
