On the 24th January, Education Officers within the Directorate for the Early Years, Languages and Humanities participated in an interactive workshop on Emotional Intelligence led by Dr. Erika Galea.
Hands-on activities delved into the significance of regulating children’s, adolescents’ and adults’ emotions, uncovering the key to enhancing their academic, social and behavioural skills.
By adopting targeted neuroscientific strategies, this workshop aimed to equip participants with a deep understanding of the vital role emotions played in children’s/adolescents’/adults’ overall development and provided them with practical tools to promote emotional regulation effectively.
These strategies also assisted the participants in managing their own emotions.
