The Mikiel Anton Vassalli College (MAVC) Gozo Visual and Performing Arts School is proud to announce that student Emma Lynn Cauchi has been awarded First Prize at the inaugural Digital Literacy Awards, recognising excellence in creative digital
The Digital Literacy Awards – including the category in which Emma Lynn Cauchi’s work was recognised – is organised by the Directorate for Digital Literacy & Transversal Skills, a government education body within the Ministry of Education responsible for advancing digital literacy in schools as part of the national Digital Education Strategy
Emma Lynn, who is currently following Multimedia Editing: Video and Motion Design and the MQF Level 3 Certificate in Visual Arts, was recognised for the originality and technical quality of her work “an achievement that reflects the Gozo VPA School’s ongoing commitment to creative and digital education” said Victor Galea the Head of College.
Vince Caruana, Head of School, also praised the award as a positive example of student potential being successfully realised through dedication and guidance.
Emma Lynn’s Digital Art teacher, Shawn Cauchi, noted that such recognition serves as a strong motivation for students to continue developing their creative abilities and to strive for excellence in their artistic and technical work.
This achievement stands as a testament to the talent of MAVC students and the College’s commitment to fostering innovation, creativity, and professional skills in the visual and performing arts.
