Post-Doctoral Research forms an increasingly important part of any country’s economic and social agenda. Through this post graduate research, there will be more investment in human capital with a focus on emerging labour markets sectors, including areas of green, digital, STEM, smart specialization, innovation and other sectors addressing the evolving development needs and challenges characterizing Maltese society, in line with Malta’s national priorities. This investment is concentrated to further strengthen the building of research communities in Malta with the aim to reap economic benefits derived through the effects of human resource development, R & l, and knowledge diffusion on technological innovation.
