On Friday 20th May 2022, over 70 students studying agribusiness at St. Ignatius Secondary School, Ħandaq attended the first edition of the Malta AgriFair held at the MFCC. Students were given the opportunity to learn about different agribusiness enterprises whilst engaging with stakeholders in the industry. This was a very positive and beneficial experience for the participants as they were able to gain a better understanding of what an agribusiness enterprise looks like and what it entails.
The Malta AgriFair is a national event which is being organised by the Ministry for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights between Friday 20th May and Sunday 22nd May. It is aimed at promoting local produce, machinery, systems and technological development, amongst others; with the aim of bringing various stakeholders together.
The public has also been invited to attend.
