The National Literacy Agency recently hosted a professional learning session organised by the Centre for Literacy of the University of Malta, directed by Prof. Charles L. Mifsud. The initial findings from the research and development programme EduRoboKids were shared and discussed with the Heads of Department for Literacy and some of the Agency’s Reading Animators. Through EduRoboKids, Tommy the social robot acted as a learning companion to a group of primary school children for several months. More information on this project is available at https://www.um.edu.mt/literacy/edurobokids/.
