The Language to Go Summer 2024 Edition, organized by the Migrant Learners’ Unit within The Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation (MEYR), was a resounding success. This course, conducted in both Maltese and English, aims to support newcomer international learners aged 7 to 15 (Year 2 to Year 10).

This year, 420 students participated in the Language to Go! course divided into 59 groups. Each course comprised 8 sessions lasting 40 minutes each, held two or three times weekly for three to four consecutive weeks. All sessions were conducted online, either in the morning or afternoon. The course emphasized the importance of conversational skills, encouraging students to practice speaking in Maltese and English. Participation in the Language to Go! course was free of charge.

Upon completion of the course, learners received a certificate of participation. The Language to Go! Course is funded by The Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation (MEYR).
