As part of a holistic plan for State Schools, the Directorate for Logistics and Transport, in collaboration with the Foundation for Tomorrow Schools (FTS) are replacing the furniture within all State schools.
It is planned that within the next few years all schools will have new modern school furniture.
These include:
- Wall mounted and portable whiteboards, noticeboards and lockable boards
- Students’ lockers
In the coming months Secondary school libraries will be refurbished with new units while Primary schools will be furnished with library units in the classroom.
The plan also includes furniture in staff rooms, classes, administration offices, reception areas and halls.
