A celebratory event was held on Monday 3 July 2023 at the National Curriculum Centre, Ħamrun to acknowledge the achievement of 14 newly certified Reading Recovery (RR) teachers who started their professional development in March 2022.
RR certification entailed participation in assessment training, 17 professional development sessions with live lessons, two hours minimum of daily individual teaching of children and multiple coaching visits from their RR Teacher Leader.
Heartfelt congratulations from the National Literacy Agency (NLA) and Reading Recovery Europe, University College London (UCL) to these RR teachers on their well-deserved success!
