On Wednesday 12th June, during a ceremony held at the Residence of the French Embassy in Malta, in Żebbuġ, Her Excellency the Ambassador of France in Malta, Mme Agnès von der Mühll, on behalf of the French Government, had the pleasure of presenting Ms Doreen Farrugia, Education Officer for French within the Directorate for the Early Years, Languages and Humanities (DELH), with the insignia of Chevalier des Palmes Académiques as a recognition of the commitment shown in field education that is, the teaching of the French language and culture.
This is a great honour for Ms Farrugia, for the Directorate and for the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation. This was a proud moment which will continue to motivate Ms Farrugia to keep on working in liaison with the French Embassy in Malta for the promotion of the French language and culture in the local context.
