On the 13th of August, 2024, the students attending the Birkirkara Summer Catch-up Classes participated in several sports and water activities related to a healthy lifestyle and collected funds in aid of Id-Dar tal-Providenza.
Students were informed prior to wear a swimsuit, get a cap, waterproof sandals, a cup, a sponge, a beach towel and a change of clothing in case they get wet. To help the environment, those students who ordered the fresh orange juice were advised to get their own cup so that we won’t use disposable cups. Students were advised to apply sunblock on the day since they were going to spend a long time in the yard. The programme of the day started with water games in the schoolyard which were organized by the class teachers and the PE teacher followed by fresh orange juice. During the activity we had the fresh orange juice stand, a sound-system and a bubble-making machine.
A big thank you goes to all our dedicated teachers who organized this activity which was a great success. We received positive feedback from the students and parents/guardians alike. An event to be repeated.
