This year, St. Benedict College Pietru Pawl Saydon Secondary School is celebrating a significant milestone—20 years! To mark this special occasion, the school proudly unveiled a song titled F’qalbna, which is an inspiring tribute to two decades of success and community.
The song, a blend of heartfelt lyrics and captivating music, was written by teacher Mr. Keith Scicluna, and Marija Bellia, an ex-student. It truly captures the essence of the school’s journey, the connections it has fostered, and the dreams that continue to blossom within its walls.
What made the moment event more special was the beautiful performance of the song, which featured students, ex-students, and staff, all coming together to celebrate their shared history and achievements.
A special mention goes to the musical production team: the composition of Marija Bellia, the recordings by Romina Mamo, and the final production work by Francesco Trapasso and Benedittu Productions. Together, they brought the song to life in a way that truly resonated with the hearts of everyone present.
In addition to the song, a video for F’qalbna was produced, capturing the essence of the song and the spirit of the school. The video was filmed at the school, showcasing the familiar spaces that have shaped so many lives over the years.
