During the week starting 10 March 2025, Dr Sue Bodman, Reading Recovery (RR) National Leader, visited the following schools for the purpose of RR accreditation: St Ġorġ Preca College Marsa Primary, St Theresa College Lija-Balzan-Iklin Primary and St Thomas More College Marsascala St Anne Primary.
During this accreditation visit, two RR Teacher Leaders were observed teaching one of their pupils in RR and were given individual support. Another two RR Teacher Leaders were observed co-delivering a RR Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Session for the complementary education teachers and class teachers trained in RR within St Ġorġ Preca College and St Margaret College.
The purpose of this visit was to ensure that the standards for implementation of RR are being met, and its trademark can continue to be used in Malta.
