The Malta Visual and Performing Arts School recently staged its latest Prize Day production, Dawra Mad-Dinja fit-80 Jum, an adaptation of Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne.
The production brought together the talents of more than 150 cast members and featured a live orchestra together with ensemble piano performances between scenes, creating a vibrant and immersive theatrical experience for audiences.
The event showcased the collaboration between the different disciplines within the school — Art, Media, Music, Theatre, and Dance — with students contributing creatively across all aspects of the production. Art students designed and created the props for the show and also presented an exhibition inspired by the production. Media students designed the event programmes, captured behind-the-scenes footage throughout the process and also presented an exhibition.
The production highlighted the creativity, dedication, and interdisciplinary collaboration that continue to define the educational experience at the school.
