After several years of inactivity, the MEYR Football Team has officially made its comeback in the MESA Football Championship — uniting colleagues from across the ministry, from teaching staff to administrative members.
This exciting revival aims not only to encourage sportsmanship and teamwork, but also to strengthen the bond among staff outside the usual work routine.
A Triumphant Return
In their first friendly match against the Excelsior Football Team, MEYR’s players showcased remarkable determination and skill, clinching an impressive 14–5 victory.
Such a strong performance highlights both the team’s potential and the enthusiasm fueling this new chapter in MESA’s sporting journey.
“It’s fantastic to see our staff coming together through sport again,” said one team member. “There’s a real sense of energy and unity.”

The MESA team is already gearing up for more matches ahead. Their next game is scheduled for Wednesday, 15th October 2025, when they’ll face AFM B.
