Every October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an opportunity to spread awareness about the disease that kills nearly 41,000 women each year.
The Mede Social Committee will be organising a PINK DAY on Friday 16 October for all employees working at the Ministry for Education and Employment. This is a fundraising event were everyone is encouraged to wear pink and jeans for the occasion. This year we will be collecting donations for the Breast Care Support Group, Europa Donna. https://europadonnamalta.org.mt/
We are encouraging all employees and workplaces to join this initiative and help Europa Donna Malta provide the necessary community support.
Due to COVID restrictions we invite you to to take a photo in your office or workplace and post it on your social media as a means to raise breast cancer awareness in the workplace.
Participation is on a voluntary basis.
