Welcome back to school.
As part of an Eko-Skola initiative, Primary Years 1 & 2 at Hamrun Primary School have grown their own food. In collaboration with parents they used recycled containers (yoghurt cups, milk cartons) as planters and plated beans, tomatoes and potato seeds. They also recorded growth through a hands-on mathematical approach. Now looking forward towards a cooking session using their own grown food (beans, tomatoes & potatoes).
It is good to be back at school.
