The ‘Home Libraries’ project

The National Literacy Agency is helping to provide a rich home literacy environment to children aged between the ages of 0 to 16 coming from families with low socio-economic status.  The ‘Home Libraries/Librerija f’Kull Dar’ project is part of a state funded scheme. In collaboration with the Foundation for Social Welfare Services the Agency distributes books in Maltese and English to families who benefit from the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD) and the State Funded Food Distribution Scheme (SFFD).
