The Department for Finance in collaboration with the Office of the Permanent Secretary conducted seven virtual information sessions on Finance Issues and Pubic & Procurement Regulations. More than 200 participants from the Ministry head office, State schools and entities attended these plug-in webinars.
These interactive sessions offered the participants to acquaint themselves of practical awareness and understanding of financial matters and procurement processes in relation to the Public Procurement Regulations for good governance. Some of the topics discussed were the principles of procurement, public procurement thresholds, procurement cycles and the Fiscal Responsibility Act.
