During the week starting 10 October 2022, Dr Sue Bodman, Reading Recovery (RR) National Leader, visited schools which are implementing RR (Reading Recovery) in Malta, for the purpose of accreditation. Individual and group support were provided to the seven Maltese RR Teacher Leaders and to their sixty-two RR teachers so that the standards of RR are ensured, and its trademark can continue to be used.
During this visit Dr Bodman also led the first meeting of the Steering Group for the Redevelopment of RR in Maltese – Ir-Rimonta fil-Qari. The Group will serve as an advisory body in the reconstruction of RR assessments and norming procedures of authorised texts.
