The annual solidarity by the staff and service users at FES towards the Pink October and Movember campaigns, once again translated into a handsome sum of money that will support the services being offered by Hospice Malta.
The FES CEO Mr Michael Bondin, presented the sum of €2,777.00 to Ms Alexia Demicoli, Chief relations Officer at Hospice Malta, during a Christmas gathering for staff from Head Office and the Childcare and Klabb 3-16 Centres. Ms Demicoli thanked everyone for their generosity and spoke about how the funds will enable Hospice Malta to help more people in the area of palliative care.
The money was collected from the various initiatives organised during the months of October and November, which not only served to raise funds, but also to raise awareness about the need of a better lifestyle and care for oneself.
