As in previous years, The French Department within MEYR organised the Francofete annual activity which is celebrated on the 20th March.
This year, the activity invited Year 10 students from all educational sectors. The main objective of this activity was to invite students of French to become young ambassadors and invite Francophone peers to visit our beautiful islands. Students wrote short messages and took photos of different scenes in Malta and Gozo.
The Centre Franco-Maltais is pleased to congratulate the 25 schools which have participated in this annual event.
The aims of this activity were:
• to make the participants act as ambassadors of our country, which plays an important role in Europe and in the Mediterranean area;
• to help participants practice their writing skills.
The French Department would like to thank the Ministry for Education, Sports, Youth, Research, and Innovation (MEYR) and the Embassy of France in Malta for their continuous support.
