The seven Maltese Reading Recovery Teacher Leaders participated in their annual professional development meeting, which was held on 20th March to 22nd March 2024, at the Senate House, University of London. The yearly conference brings together all Teacher Leaders in the Reading Recovery Europe network to participate in professional learning as part of their accreditation in the TL role.
The theme of this year’s meeting was Achieving Complexity in Writing Outcomes. The focus was on the role of teacher decision making in improving writing achievement, both in terms of expectations around complexity in writing and teacher decisions about writing instruction and assessment.
