Department of Exams Presents Certificates and Medals to Outstanding Edexcel Exam (2023) Performers

On Monday 22nd July, the Department of Examinations held a brief certificate presentation ceremony to celebrate students who achieved outstanding results in the Edexcel (2023) examinations. The event, attended by students, educators, and families, celebrated the exceptional academic accomplishments of these young scholars.

The certificates and medals were presented by Ms Desiree Scicluna Bugeja, the Department of Exams Director and Ms Raiza Pisani, Edexcel Officer, who congratulated each student for their dedication and hard work. The following students were recognized for their exemplary performance:

  1. James Spiteri – Awarded for Highest mark in Malta for Pearson International GCSE Biology Examination
  2. Morgan Mae Pisani Gaerty – Awarded for Highest mark in Malta for Pearson International GCSE Chemistry Examination
  3. Mattias Demarco – Awarded for Highest mark in Malta for Pearson International GCSE Physics Examination
  4. Karla Debono – Awarded for the Highest mark in Malta for Pearson International GCSE English Language
  5. Jinzhu Lu – Awarded for the Highest mark in Europe for Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Chinese

In her address, Ms Desiree Scicluna Bugeja highlighted the significance of their achievements, stating, “These students have not only excelled academically but have also demonstrated the determination and discipline required to reach the highest levels of success. Their success is a reflection of their hard work and the unwavering support of their educators and families.”
