As part of a learning curve at Paola Summer Catch-Up Classes we organised a fundraising activity in Aid of Id-Dar tal-Providenza during the week starting Monday, 5th August 2024.
The intention was to encourage the students to be empathetic towards other people in the community who are less fortunate than them. Participating in fundraising activities not only instills important values in children, but also helps them grow emotionally, socially, and intellectually. Students participated eagerly by buying their favourite muffin and fresh milk, showing that they understood that one of the biggest lessons learned from fundraising is the importance of giving. Children found joy and fulfillment in making a positive impact on the lives of others. Children had the opportunity to wear a fancy-dress costume and enjoy the crazy hair activity.
A big thanks go to Malta Dairy Products Ltd. who participated in this fund-raising activity by donating the milk cartons.
This activity would have not been a great success without the collaboration of parents, students and our passionate teachers who participated in the fundraising activity during the whole week for a worthy cause.
