St Ignatius College’s psychosocial team participated in an Erasmus+ course about ‘Design the Positive: Positive Thinking, Positive Communication and Positive School Spaces’ as part of the College Erasmus+ accreditation plan. Following this training, and as part of the dissemination process, the team created a set of cards to enhance positivity within the schools about 5 categories – classroom environment, mindfulness, movement and fun, effective communication and empathy and well-being. Each category includes 4 cards with a variety of ideas or activities that can be implemented independently or in combination. It is hoped that the regular use of these cards will enhance class dynamics and inherently cultivate a positive class, and school, culture.
St Ignatius College extends a special thanks to EUPA for the financial support of the EU funds to materialise these cards for eventual dissemination within the college and across other colleges too.
The official launch of these cards will take place in the first term of scholastic year 2024-2025.
