Kirkop, Malta – Benedittu Productions, under the auspices of St Benedict College, Secondary School in Kirkop, is proud to announce the much-anticipated annual pantomime, “Xrek,” set to take place this December. This beloved tradition has garnered significant popularity over the years, drawing thousands of attendees, including students and the general public.
The production is a collaborative effort involving dedicated staff, current students, and alumni, who work tirelessly for several weeks to deliver an unforgettable experience. The pantomime promises two and a half hours of continuous entertainment, featuring jokes, songs, elaborate costumes, and impressive stage design.
This year’s production, “Xrek,” is expected to be another resounding success, enhancing the school’s ethos and contributing to the well-being of both staff and students. Beyond entertainment, the event serves a noble cause. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Hospice Malta, continuing a long-standing tradition of supporting various NGOs.
Hospice Malta provides free, patient-centered palliative care to individuals suffering from a range of serious illnesses, including cancer, motor neurone disease, and advanced cardiac, respiratory, renal, and liver diseases, among others. Their multidisciplinary team offers holistic care that addresses the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of patients, as well as support for their families.
Benedittu Productions invites the community to book their tickets early to support this voluntary initiative and contribute to Hospice Malta’s invaluable services. While morning performances for students are nearly sold out, tickets for the general public are still available for shows scheduled from December 12th to 15th.
