Nature Trust FEE Malta organised it’s yearly 3-day FEE fest which was once again a resounding success with a very good turnout bringing together stakeholders from across Malta showcasing cutting-edge solutions and projects aimed at addressing environmental challenges.
During the fair, which was kindly hosted by St. Nicholas College, Dun Manwel Attard, Wardija School, students had the opportunity to engage directly with experts in various fields to delve into the world of sustainability education. From informative talks to hands-on activities, games and entrepreneurship initiatives, attendees had the opportunity to explore diverse topics related to sustainable development and gain valuable insights into fostering a more environmentally conscious lifestyle. There was literally something for everyone!
As part of the RESisles project, being implemented this year through the FEE programmes, students had to opportunity to voice their perspectives on climate change. All the comments, along with contributions from Cyprus and Crete, will be compiled into a digital collage and shared on social media across all three countries.
FEE Fest not only provided insights into FEE’s programmes but also served as a platform for fostering collaboration and inspiring innovative solutions to environmental challenges. As the largest global network spanning 83 countries, FEE remains at the forefront of promoting environmental consciousness through its various programs, including Eco-Schools, Learning about Ecosystems And Forests (LEAF), and Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE).
As the local representative of FEE international, Nature Trust FEE Malta remains committed to expand its reach and impact, driving meaningful progress towards a more sustainable future, empowering students to embrace the latest innovations and initiatives in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).
