Our eTwinning team from the Directorate for Digital Literacy & Transversal Skills proudly took part in the Europe Day 2026 celebrations. This was organised by Europe Direct Gozo and was held at Villa Rundle, Rabat, Gozo on Saturday, 9th May 2026.
The eTwinning stand attracted many visitors with its interactive hands-on activities like colouring activities and crafts related to eTwinning. Children, and adults alike, enjoyed making bead bracelets using yellow, blue and star beads, all symbols of eTwinning. A large number of primary school students also enthusiastically participated in a competition, creating posters about online safety, cyberbullying and writing stories about becoming digital heroes.
Students, AI experts, parents, educators, and policymakers also came together for an engaging debate on Artificial Intelligence as part of the event’s activities.
We were honoured to welcome several distinguished guests to our stand throughout the day. Europe Day 2026 was truly a great success and a memorable experience for everyone involved!
