Lovely news indeed !! Last week Prince’s Trust held the 2021 Prince’s Trust Global Awards and we are super proud to share that our very own Katriel Zahra from SMC Secondary Verdala has been selected as the Regional Winner for Europe for these prestigious awards.
The panel of judges were incredibly impressed by his story and felt that he is a shining example of what the PTI Achieve Programme was created to do. As part of the programme, Katriel followed a number of Achieve units amongst which Work Experience, Teamwork, Managing Money, Preparing for a Healthy Lifestyle and Teamwork, gaining numerous skills along the way. He has successfully achieved an MQF Level 1 PTI Achieve Certificate and he now plans to further his studies at MCAST to make his dream of being a hairdresser become a reality. Heartfelt thanks goes to HSBC Malta Foundation for supporting the PTI Achieve in Malta and a gigantic well done to Katriel for this achievement ! You make us proud !
