St. Theresa College, Secondary School, Mriehel –  Erasmus + SAFE

Sustainable Alternative Future Essentials

Our Erasmus+ project is an innovative initiative that fosters cross-cultural collaboration, environmental awareness, and creative learning among students. Designed to promote sustainability and interdisciplinary engagement, the project enables young learners to explore global challenges through hands-on experiences, teamwork, and digital literacy. The students’ active involvement has culminated in the creation of meaningful educational resources that we believe can greatly benefit primary schools across Malta.

As part of our dissemination efforts, participating students have developed a unique and engaging book titled The Adventure of Food. This book, which will be distributed in selected primary schools, is entirely student-created—featuring original text, illustrations, and digital design. Through their dedication, creativity, and commitment to sustainability, these students have successfully brought to life an educational resource that encourages young readers to reflect on the importance of food, culture, and environmental responsibility.

To facilitate wider access to this project, we kindly encourage educators and stakeholders to visit the following link to learn more about this initiative and explore the students’ remarkable work:
